Lulu Fx is an experimental cloud-based
tool for animation and visual effects. With Lulu Fx there is no need to
download anything to your computer. The application and all of your content
is available to you anywhere, anytime. Lulu Fx provides a collaborative
document model allowing multiple people to work on the same document at the
same time.
Lulu Fx is a work-in-progress, under heavy development (solely by me in my
free time), and still missing many fundamental components of a usuable tool.
At this stage it's really only useful for playing with.
Things will change on you. Probably frequently. Things will break, also
frequently. New things are added all of the time.
There's very little documentation, and what little there is is incomplete and
likely confusing. But you are welcome to try it out during development and
I would love to hear your feedback. I can't promise I'll be able to provide
much support, but if I can I'll be glad to help.
Requirements
Lulu Fx requires a browser with
WebGL
(Chrome, Firefox).
Safari will require WebGL being
enabled, and
Internet Explorer will
require version 11, but I've done no testing with it so I wouldn't
recommend it for now. In fact, almost all of my testing has been with
Chrome (and a little with Firefox), so I would stick with that for now.
You will also probably want a decently powerful computer, as this
stuff is pretty CPU and GPU intensive.
